Project Manager Wanted!

As a growing  Omaha based Landscaping company within the green industry,  they are looking for their next highly motivated Project Manager who has  the ability and experience to help us continue enhancing our client’s lives through custom-built landscapes that bring creativity and innovation to the norm.

 

Position Specifics: • Manage 4-5 crews from morning prep to when crews return at the end of the day. • Manage landscape and hardscape construction projects from sale to final walkthrough. You will be held accountable for quality, budgets, and timelines. • Discuss progress and next day needs with crew leaders, production team, and designers • Maintain crew safety and efficient work practices through training and supervision. • Ensure crews have proper equipment for specific tasks related to project install. • Ensure jobsite quality and appearance meets homeowner and UPL standards. • Complete regular site visits, final sign off and walkthroughs with homeowners at end of installs. • Manage project organization through site preparation, material orders, equipment deliveries and onsite supervision of projects while monitoring costs and budgets • Proactive communication to clients, crews, general manager & staff • Assist project manager, general manager and marketing manager in job planning, material orders, production deliveries, and troubleshooting Job Skills/Qualifications: • 2 or 4-year degree in a landscape construction related field and/or certification by a landscape association preferred. • 3-5 years of experience in Landscape Residential Design/Build Industry, including Hardscape Installation. • 3-5 years of project management experience within the landscaping construction industry to include managing multiple crews, subcontractors and projects at the same time. • 2-4 years prior experience in a supervisory role and demonstrated ability to coach and develop teams. • Ability to lead foreman and multiple crews to ensure job quality and completion of jobs on schedule • Proficiency with computer software programs including Word, Excel, Outlook • Strong work ethic, embracing accountability and consistency • Committed to producing quality work that exceeds client expectationsExpert level skill set required in setting our projects, grades and reading blueprints • In depth knowledge of hardscape industry best practices and installation techniques • Ability to analyze job cost/benefit of issues and to assess the risk to make profitable business decisions • Pragmatic, systems-based thinking with excellent written and oral communication skills (Spanish speaking a strong plus) • Insurability and ability to operate company's vehicles • Ability to push, pull, lift or move up to 50 pounds unassisted .
